Spider-Man II from Earth-1967

This is the third costume for my RPG character, Spider-Man II. He's from the game I play under the magnificent GM Redcoyote; in Earth-1967, where the Hulk went mad some 15 years ago and killed most of the Marvel heroes; then in the chaos that ensued, villains took control of most cities and killed all surviving heroes.

Fast forward some years later, and Malcolm James King III discovered he had superpowers similar to his idol, the late Spider-Man. He put on a costume that more resembled a commando outfit with a white spider in front, and called himself the Black Spider, striking at gangs and organized crime in his native Harlem. His inspirations where both the original Spidey, and his own father, a cop that was killed on duty by the Kingpin's thugs.

He eventually joined with other heroes, and together, they took down menaces like the Kingpin, the Red Skull and Doctor Octopus. During the course of his adventures, the symbiote that used to be Peter Parker's old costume and Venom's alien half bonded to him, and that's when he gained Parker's memories up to the moment the symbiote was excised from him.

With those memories, he knew about Aunt May and Mary Jane, and meeting them, got permission to be Spidey's heir in more than spirit: he became Spider-Man II. Later, during the mission against the Red Skull, his team fought the Revengers, a Nazi alternate version of the Avengers that the Skull had brought to this Earth with the Cosmic Cube. Nazi Thor shot Spidey with lighting, and killed the symbiote.

The team retreated to a native american reservation where the current Shaman and the new Captain America (a native), and Shaman helped Malcolm get in touch with a spirit guide that connected him to the spider totems. The spider totems granted him mystical tattoos that gave him additional spider powers. The tattoos also house a costume, that Malcolm chose to make look like the black Spider-Man costume, with a native twist in the webbing, also harkening back to the original, blue and red costume Spidey wore. The US government has picked itself up from the ashes and installed its new capital in New York, reforming the Avengers, and Spidey's one of them now.

I used the the spider web pattern to stamp over the costume at a 40% opacity, then pasted over the buildings photo, and to make the city not look so out of place with the character, I turned the buildings into a photocopy, blackened the sky, and added some trusty difference clouds to it, to make it look like a stormy night in which Spidey's patrolling.
