It seems that every day there's a new e-mail at work to raise money for this and that birthday present; even for new people. I've even helped made photoshop stuff for birthday cards to go with the presents (usually a gift voucher, but bought amongst some 20 people, it's considerable)... yet it's been over two months since my birthday; to which I invited all my co-workers (some of them who are my friends, some of them even for the past two years)... and I haven't even received a card from them.

Don't get me wrong, it's not about the gift voucher, nor the card itself... but it kind of makes me down to think that they're raising money for a gift for a girl who started working with us a week ago... and they never even gave me a fucking card. Feh. Sorry for moping...
